The beachfronts at Kalathas
The main beach and adjacent cove:
Kalathas consists of one main beachfront that has a section organized with rental loungers and umbrellas, and a taverna. At its southern side, a rocky ridge juts into the sea, dividing the main beach from a crescent-shaped sandy cove. This smaller beachfront is considerably less busy and feels more secluded; it is easily reached by clambering up and over the rock outcropping.
The stone and pebble beach:
There is another separate shorefront at the north end of Kalathas, just past the rocky point below the bend in the highway. It doesn’t have soft sands and smooth walk into the water like the main beach or cove, but it’s perfect for sunbathing or avoiding the crowds around the corner.
