What’s new this year

Ftelia Pacha Mykonos beach club on Mykonos

Ftelia Pacha Mykonos  is a new restaurant, bar, lounge and beach venue that opened June 1 at Ftelia beach. It’s the latest project of The Destino Pacha hospitality group, which last year opened  the Destino Pacha Mykonos Hotel near Agios Stefanos beach, and the Lio Mykonos live cabaret restaurant in Mykonos Town.  Offering an “open beach experience,” Ftelia beach club will offer daily entertainment by top-tier international DJs from June 10 to September 18.

It’s not new, of course —  Super Paradise Beach Club has been a legendary Mykonos beach and party institution since 1971. But for 2022, the club essentially is a like-new place:  it has been completely redesigned and rebuilt with a more sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic and atmosphere. May 1 was  opening day for the freshly “renewed” club.

  1. Are beach clubs still open last week of September??

Some may close by then but others will be open into early October.

      • I don’t see many events yet listed for September… we were thinking of coming week of September 7… will things typically still be in full swing at that time?

Few events have been announced for September so far, but the island will still be very busy with a lot happening.

      • Any beach clubs where kids are allowed?

Far as I am aware, kids are welcome during daytime. I don’t know if any clubs specifically do not allow kids during night parties, however. If there is a particular club you wish to visit, contact them ahead of time to ask about their policy (if any) on children.

  2. My Finace and I are coming to Greece the last week of September for two weeks is there any good DJ’s still playing then or even early October? Was hoping to plan one night of good house music!

There will still be parties and nightlife then, and into the first week of October, but it’s too early to know what places might be closed — some of the nightclubs and bigger venues usually start closing in mid September, but since it’s an exceptionally busy tourist season, it’s possible places may extend their seasons.

  3. We are coming October 10, do you think things will be open?

Maybe a couple of beach clubs and still a lot of restaurants, plus bars in Mykonos Town. Can’t say what will be open because most places don’t decide their closing dates this early.

  4. Do you have any recommendation for tonight? We are looking for nice dinner and an top DJ. We loved Scorpios last night for example. Thanks so much for your blog very insightful
