How is the last week of September usually in Mykonos? Are things still open? Worth visiting during that time?

Though some restaurants and clubs will be closed or on the verge of closing, many will still be open. The island will be very lively and bustling. That’s a great time to visit.

Visiting Mykonos via cruise ship on July 13th. From reading online, looks like we’d take and be on the lookout to rent a water taxi to a neighboring beach? We are wanting to go to a fun beach for the day, have 7 people ranging in age of 17-55 years old, wanting a nice beach club that has good music and watersport rentals (jet ski, paddleboards etc). Looks like Pasaji may be a good option? Arrive by water taxi? Able to reserve beds/umbrellas prior to arriving? Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Super Paradise beach would be a good option — either Paraj or Super Paradise beach club (side by side and same ownership) — since it has a water sports facility. If you are set on going by boat, arrange your transfer and return ride in advance — don’t expect water taxis to be waiting around. Two companies to consider are deepseayachting.com and saltyboatrips.com. You can find others on Google.
