Fresh perspective: With this post, I’m proud to add a new feature to my blog — photographs taken in Greece by travellers other than me and my partner. “Through another lens” will take you to places we haven’t yet had the chance to visit in Greece, as well as bring you back to some familiar and favourite locations that I have profiled in previous posts.
I’m launching “Through another lens” with these Mykonos photos by Juan Carlos Serna of Woburn, England, whom I had the pleasure of meeting last month while he and his family were vacationing on the island. Hope you enjoy his photos!
Feel free to contact me if you have Greek holiday pics of your own that you’d be happy to share on MyGreeceTravelBlog.com.

Last month, I got to see more than 20 different beaches, and actually spent awhile enjoying 17 of them. I visited Kapari and Lia for the first time ever, and made return trips to several beaches I had not seen in a few years: Kalafatis, Elia, Super Paradise, Psarou and Agios Stefanos.

… then carries her youngest child across the slippery surf-sprayed walkway so they don’t get soaked when the next big wave strikes the shoreline
Wind and waves: The seaside strip of cocktail bars in Little Venice is usually packed with cruise ship passengers and other travellers enjoying a drink or lunch at one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mykonos Town. But on at least two days during my May 2012 holiday in Mykonos, strong winds and high waves made it impossible for visitors to sit anywhere close to the sea — unless they happened to be wearing wetsuits.
